BBQ and PIZZA at the CIA OPEN..

We are planning the Pizza Party on Friday before the show at 7PM. Brick oven Gourmet Pizza's, Salads and more. $20 per person.

We are also planning a BBQ on Saturday night of the show at 6:30pm. Chicken, Ribs, Salads and more. $20 per person.

I need head count for the caterers by Sunday October 7th so please e-mail me back at asta@tolt.net before Sunday October 7th and let me know if you would like to join us for both nights or just one.

CIA OPEN Fall Show Update..

We are adding few different classes to the class list for our show. We are offering Youth Classes in 12 and under and 16 and under in both Tölt and Fourgait and then we are offering 3 Gait class where you show Tölt, Trot and Walk.

CIA OPEN TRIPLE WORLDRANKING SHOW..

If you would like to participate in the show but don't have a horse you can always volunteer to be a scribe for one of our FEIF International judges.

Also we offer Class sponsorships at $50 each. If you would like to sponsor a class you can fill out the sponsor form and bring it to the show with a check or mail it to us at 3600 Roblar Ave. Santa Ynez, CA 93460.

USIHC Member Meeting at the Spring Show...

Members Meeting
A Congress Members Meeting will take place in conjunction with the second day of the Triple World Ranking event at Flying C Ranch in Santa Ynez, California. This meeting is an opportunity for Congress members to speak directly with a variety of Board members -- including those not normally at West Coast events. This meeting will also consider at least two amendments to the Congress Constitution. (Details to follow here and in the formal meeting announcement mailing.)
All members are encouraged to attend if possible. A second meeting will take place later in the year at an East Coast event. The details are still under consideration.

For any member considering attending the meeting in California.... Please note hotel rooms in the Santa Ynez area are difficult to book at this time of year. Most hotels do not list with online travel sites. It is strongly suggested that you book early and contact the hotel directly to arrange your room. This page will help you locate hotels close to Flying C Ranch.

The meeting will take place between the end of the competition day and the traditional pizza dinner. For those who haven't had the pleasure, this is no ordinary take-out pizza dinner. The pizzas are cooked onsite in a trailer-mounted, wood-burning oven. The result is nothing short of spectacular. If you plan to attend the meeting and join us for pizza, please contact Ásta at asta@tolt.net by May 1st to reserve your place. The cost for the pizza is $20 and can be paid when you arrive.
